Federal Governance / Gouverenance et fédéralisme is a Canadian-based international graduate student journal on the theory and practice of federalism that welcomes contributions from a wide range of methodological, philosophical, and ideological perspectives. CfP: International Conference on Contemporary Canada: Bridges and Barriers, 26-28 November 2025

Through an interdisciplinary lens, the conference seeks to explore the complex dynamics of Canada’s ongoing efforts to foster stability and belonging, while grappling with the divisions and conflicts that continue to shape its social fabric. While a primary area of interest will be the linguistic and discursive dimensions, we warmly welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives, including geographic, historical, sociological, legal, literary, and cultural perspectives.
The official languages of the conference are English, French and Italian.

Call for Applications – Doctoral Visiting Fellowships at Concordia University; 1 June Deadline

This program offers two 3-month fellowships for doctoral students based outside Quebec, whose research aligns with IRI’s focus. Fellows will collaborate with Professors Antoine Bilodeau and/or Mireille Paquet during their stay at Concordia.
