First Scotland-Canada Arctic Dialogue!

The Centre of Canadian Studies was honored to co-host this event with the Polar Research and Policy Initiative, as well as the Edinburgh Arctic Research Network.

The event drew together academics, both social scientists and natural scientists, from across Scotland, as well those involved in policy, notbaly representatives from the Scottish Government, Scottish Development International and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

The panel, comprising Professor Heather Nicol (Trent University, Canada), Dr Dwayne Menezes (PRPI), Rear Admiral Nick Lambert (NLI International) and Catriona Little (Scottish Government in Canada), reflected this mixture of expertise.

Danita Burke, a contributor from the University of Southern Denmark, offers this blog post.
