Canadian Indigenous Film Screening!

'Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things' reaches beyond mere facts with heart-wrenching & warming moments, anecdotes of ignorance & the efforts to dispel it, & personal stories of trials & triumph.

To celebrate LGBT+ History Month, join the Students' Association's Global Students team for a screening of the film 'Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things' (https://twosofttwohard.com/).

This feature documentary film explores how colonisation & religion have shamed & erased traditional Inuit beliefs about sexuality & family structure - & how a new generation are ‘unshaming’ their past.

The film screening will take place on Monday 26th February from 18:30-20:30 at the University of Edinburgh Screening Room (50 George Square, Rm G.04). You can find more information at the Facebook event page here and get your free tickets to attend here.

Focusing on how the community of Nunavut, Canada prepared for their first LGBTQ Pride celebration, it's a film not to be missed!
