Canada Hub at Edinburgh Festival!

Festival events to mark Canada 150.

To mark Canada 150, the Canadian High Commission have joined forces with Canada Council for the Arts, British Council Canada and the Quebec Government to bring the richness and diversity of Canadian culture to Edinburgh’s world-leading festivals. Without a doubt, there’s a dose of Canada for everyone, from comedy to opera, literature to VR, dance to circus.

At the Fringe, the CanadaHub @ King’s Hall will feature six Canadian companies, including Article 11, an Indigenous performance group that will be in residence throughout the month.  The Fringe will also host a production of Party Game by bluemouth inc. and Canadian director Jennifer Tarver, presented by the Traverse Theatre.  There is also a wide range of talent appearing across many other Fringe venues. An array of writers will participate in the Edinburgh International Book Festival and the International Festival will feature singers and musicians, including the incomparable Marc-Andre Hamelin.
